Covenant Reviews

"I am a young person and I see so many "relationships" crashing and burning. I was beginning to think that the media (written or otherwise) had nothing good to say about real love and commitment. When I read Covenant, I was happy to see adults setting good examples about waiting for Mr/Mrs Right. I was even more excited to see christian relationships with fire and passion -- seeing friends and families sticking together and supporting one another. Covenant is a shining example of what "could be" if we just take the time to "make it be." You have to read this book and get inspired! It is not all fluff ... the characters make mistakes, learn from them and move on with the loving support of those around them. Seriously, get this book!" - by: S. Anise, Poet

"Inez Reilly has written a story in Covenant, which is a mature read and will captivate you from the beginning. We follow the lives of best friends, Micah and Preston, who are both professional men and very successful. While in college they made a pact with one another to abstain from premarital sex, drugs, and anything else that will bring harm to their bodies.

Reilly writes in a style that allows us to see the story develop from various points of views and it makes you feel as if you are in the pages of the book. From the outside looking in, both Micah and Preston seem perfect but they are both indeed flawed and throughout this book we get see the secrets unravel, and where insecurity, jealousy, and envy can take us and the ties that bind us to one another.

Covenant was a quick, enjoyable read and it is my hope that a sequel will be released soon." - by: Tiffany Craig

Covenant Synopsis

A spellbounding debut of a novel series, Covenant explores the lives of a circle of families, friends and loved ones. A modern fictional account, Covenant immediately pulls readers into the lives of engagingly revealed, complex characters with personalities that plant them selves in your imagination and memory.

Set in Virginia, Covenant unfolds a saga in a manner that affords readers to witness triumps, failures, insecurities, hopes, dreams, losses, and other thought-provoking elements that connect to readers’ lives. From the vantage points of parents, friends, children, lovers, strangers, and more, Covenant reveals various decisions we face as adults, both male and female, as we attempt to find the meaning of our lives, or justify the lack of meaning.

In Covenant, Inez has written a completely mesmering tale that will keep you rooting for, gasping at, and praying for, characters as they journey through relationships that define, destroy, and strengthen them, all the while working to maintain the sanctity of their circles. From successful single Preston seeking a wife to outspoken Sela constantly shocking within her surroundings to grieving wise widows to magnetically-drawn lovers and other personalities, Covenant succeeds at dealing with current issues affecting us all, sparking a fresh spin on the ties that bind, and leaving readers anxious for the follow-up novel.
